Description
DRC is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization that is committed to providing an array of services to assist individuals with disabilities to live independently, pursue meaningful goals, and have the same opportunities and choices as all persons. DRC was established in 1996 to meet the need for a resource and empowerment center for people with disabilities in Northeast Georgia. DRC is linked with a reputable national network of Centers for Independent Living, which has been functioning since 1984 to assist and empower people with disabilities in becoming independent. DRC serves as a resource center for thirteen Northeast Georgia counties and their residents.
