Mission Statement

Midland Speed Skating Club's mission is to build one of the nation's premier speed skating clubs, while actively contributing to the development of Great Lakes Bay Region's youth through initiatives designed to promote leadership, social responsibility and self- discipline. We are a local club with a proud heritage passionately committed to providing personal mobility for our community's youth.

Description

The Midland Speed Skating Club provides coaching, training, and physical conditioning sessions weekly, both on and off the ice. The activities are geared to the age and skill level of the participants.

The Midland Speed Skating Club provides coaching, training, and physical conditioning sessions weekly, both on and off the ice. The activities are geared to the age and skill level of the participants. State, national, and international speedskating competitions are held, many that include skaters of all ages and skill levels. Higher level competitions are also held, allowing club members to volunteer and watch top level skating.
