Description
The Salvation Army-Newark Area Services strives to meet human needs in Newark through a variety of courses of action. Newark Area Services oversees operations at three locations in Newark (Downtown, Ironbound, and West Ward), providing the following services: Emergency Services (food pantry, rental assistance, utility assistance, HOPWA), Senior Companion Program (Seniors helping Seniors), Foster Grandparent Program (Seniors helping Youth), AmeriCorps Program, Grand Family Success Center/Kinship Program, and After School Programs/Summer Day Camps at the Ironbound and West Ward locations.
