MDA provides, at no cost to our families, clinic visits at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, support groups, medical equipment, summer camp for children 6 to 21 at Camp Courageous in Monticello, Iowa, local research programs, and much more.
Mission Statement
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is one of the nation's largest and best known voluntary health agencies. MDA provides comprehensive medical services to hundreds of people with neuromuscular diseases in Central Iowa and funds scientific investigations at the University of Iowa.
