It is often said it takes a village to raise a child. From it’s very beginning, it has been the objective of House of Chayah to provide a welcoming and inspiring "village" established in the love of Christ, where children and young adults living in the inner-city can grow, learn, and prosper. With much success, we have seen, encouraged, and cultivated the promise of many young people who have gone on to be a testament of dedicated and faithful leadership.

House of Chayah is a Christian based non-profit organization whose focus is to assist young people in gaining the essential developmental skills necessary for adulthood, and to provide avenues for learning these skills, which may be lacking in their homes, schools and communities . It is our mission and privilege to empower young people to be active and productive members of society. We encourage each young person to be a positive influence in his or her community, and equip each one with the tools necessary to be so. We find it imperative to have a transparent and positive support system to rely on in order for them to maintain confidence in what is learned and to be examples that enrich their own communities bringing about hope and transformation.
