Envision

The right choices and resources can open doors to new worlds of opportunity, especially if you are blind or low vision. Since 1933, Envision has become one of the nation’s most trusted service and employment providers for people who are blind or low vision. Envision provides services to people of all ages. From providing a job to providing much needed resources, the goal is always the same - independence.

Envision Industries

For most Americans, holding a job is a sign of independence. Unfortunately, more than 70 percent of individuals who are blind or low vision are unemployed or underemployed. Almost 50 percent of the 400 Envision employees are blind or low vision, making Envision the nation’s second largest employer of individuals who are blind or low vision.

Envision provides vision rehabilitation, regardless of ability to pay. Envision Vision Rehabilitation Center offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art services in one convenient location. The rate of blindness and visual impairment is staged to increase at a rate that could be likened to an epidemic. Without research, education and rehabilitation, those who live with or will live with a visual impairment will not be able to maintain quality of life. Addressing these needs now is crucial.
