Clean Water Action is a national citizens' organization working for clean, safe and affordable water, prevention of health-threatening pollution, creation of environmentally-safe jobs and businesses, and empowerment of people to make democracy work.

Description

Clean Water Action is a national non-profit organization. We are currently on campaigns that focus on clean, renewable energy, protecting Michigan's water from harmful withdrawals and diversions, and educating communities on environmental health issues.

I've been an intern at Clean Water Action in Lansing, Michigan since April of 2014, and it's been a fantastic experience. The people here have been very welcoming and have helped make my time here very worthwhile and rewarding. The campaigns, both on a local and on a larger scale, are things that everyone here really care about, so it is easy to feel motivated and driven.
