Offer a 31 bed men's homeless transitional program in Baltimore County. Services include basic subsistence, substance abuse counseling, life skills, housing counseling, assistance in finding employment and benefits. Referrals to educational programs.Volunteers: Internet users who are willing to raise money by becoming members of EYEGIVE on behalf of Nehemiah House, Inc. Internet users can then contact their friends to get them signed up. Our goal is to get 1,000 internet users signed up by December, 1999.
Mission Statement
To provide temporary shelter, training, counseling and other assistance for the emotional, physical and total rehabilitation of homeless men who are released from prison, who are victims of substance abuse or the ill-effects of society in general.
