Become a music entertainment hospice volunteer and give the gift of music! We are seeking compassionate individuals who can play an instrument and/or sing, and want to bring joy and comfort to end-of-life patients across Salt Lake County. By donating a little time, volunteers can provide companionship and joy to patients and their families during a critical time. Hospice Music Volunteer opportunities include: - Being a comforting and supportive presence - Playing calming and joyful music - Singing the patient's favorite songs - Companionship/support - Other available opportunites include grief support, bereavement calls, pet therapy, and administrative in-office work. Because we work with a vulnerable population, it is important that we screen and train our volunteers before they begin working with our hospice patients and office employees. Please take a few minutes to fill out this interest form linked down below, and we will contact you with details about training, volunteer availability, and more. In order to retain volunteers we are willing to be flexible to your schedule!
