Hands On Tahoe (an affiliate of Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation)

Our fully web-based program allows a wide variety of Non-profits to list their opportunities. Hands On Tahoe will immediately search our data base and send email blasts to prospective volunteers who match the skills/interests described in the volunteer request. Hands On Tahoe also, when appropriate, advertises in local media and does other community outreach to possible volunteers.

Prospective volunteers search the site for opportunities that fit their skills, interests and time constraints. If interested, the volunteer has the opportunity to immediately contact the Non-profit by email directly from the opportunity listing..

Hands On Tahoe has over 130 Non-profits in the greater North Tahoe - Truckee area that have listed with us; on average, at any one time, there at least 100 volunteer opportunities listed by over 35 organizations.
