Mission Statement

Rehabilitation Industries of Northeast Georgia is a private non-profit organization located in Gainesville, Georgia. We provide vocational services to individuals with disabilities or others with similar vocational needs to reach independence and self sufficiency through training, support and advocacy. Most of our programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), such as Employee Development Services, Organizational Employee Services and Community Employment Services which include Job Development, Job Supports and Job-Site Training. Below you will find a list of the services that are accredited along with their codes, status requirements for service and referral requirements. Other programs such as our Industries Workshop in our Production Department change frequently and are based on the Jobs RING receives from businesses in the community.

Description

Since its beginning in 1969, RING has served over 7,000 individuals with disabilities ranging from mental and physical disabilities to substance abuse and learning disabilities. Although most RING Trainees are prepared for competitive employment, there is also a program for those who need continued support. This program provides gainful employment and greater independence for our most challenged trainees. There is never a fee to the Trainee and they have the opportunity to earn income through contract work generated by area businesses.
