Celebra La Vida Con Salud (Celebrate a Healthy Life) is a health campaign that forms the Hispanic component of "Closing the Health Gap," a health campaign initiated and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Celebra itself is divided into four main components: the health fairs, the radio campaign, internet publicity, and the establishment of a community centered on the goals and initiatives of the campaign.
Mission Statement
The main objectives of the campaign are the following: promote prevention as the key to good health, to encourage Latinos to take charge of their own health, and to celebrate the benefits of good health within families and communities.
