Mission Statement

Mission Global Student Embassy’s mission is to empower young leaders to become environmental stewards, social innovators, and community leaders. In collaboration with international peers, students generate and implement powerful community-based solutions to shared ecological concerns. Vision GSE envisions a world community connected by energetic young leaders who have the ability to think critically about local and international issues and the skills to transform their ideas into positive community change. GSE is connecting the next generation of world leaders, creating an international network of champions for social responsibility and environmental consciousness.

Description

GSE offers a holistic program including cultural exchange and project-based learning rooted in solving urgent ecological problems while building sustainable local and international communities. GSE works with high school, university, and middle school-aged students, as well as with the educators, administrators and communities supporting their schools. We believe schools can be central hubs of community engagement-by supporting student growth and leadership, families, business leaders, nonprofits, and other community members invest in the health and sustainability of the community for years to come. Through a combination of 'eco-action’ project-based local activity and global ambassadorship, we create opportunities for students to investigate and realize their full potential and broaden their perspectives.
