Ag Against Hunger's gleaning program coordinates the picking of crops left behind after commercial harvest and the donation of the food, and distributes it to a network of local food banks and community pantries. By gleaning this produce we help to nutritionally balance the diets of those in need in our community.
Mission Statement
Ag Against Hunger is a clearinghouse for surplus crops from the tri-county area of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. Our mission is to alleviate hunger by providing a link between the agricultural community and food assistance organizations.
