Mission Statement

Mackenzie's Mission was founded in 2011 by Trista Roecker. Trista’s daughter, Mackenzie, was only 4 years old when she suffered a non-fatal drowning while at a routine preschool swim activity. The senselessness of this tragedy inspired Trista to create a water safety, life jacket, and drowning prevention educational program for families and lifeguards.

Description

Mackenzie's Mission is a non-profit in Laramier County in Northern Colorado. We are focused on drowning prevention and education.

Programs in development include a loaner life jacket program, a peer support group, CPR training, and a life jacket exchange program.
