Description

Vecna Technologies believes in giving to the community. The employees are encouraged to spend approximately 10% of their paid time to volunteer in community service activities, and the company actively searches for new projects that are seeking volunteers. Since its inception in January of 1999, Vecna has logged over 10,000 hours of community service. Past projects which Vecna volunteered in include assisting in the restoration efforts of Woodlawn Cemetery in the northeastern quadrant of DC, maintaining the web page of University Park, Maryland, and building homes with Habitat for Humanity. We are currently sponsoring a 10k run on July 4 with the city of College Park to benefit the health care of some underprivileged PG county students.
