I've volunteered for Prism, for about 2 yrs now. I go every Friday, to pick up their van and go to a local grocery store, to pick up items for the food shelf. I hate food waste, and this has been a real eye opener for me, seeing what happens to food and where it goes, when it's donated. All of the staff, whether it's the front desk, the basic needs coordinator, the volunteer coordinator, the thrift store people & volunteers, to the case managers....Everyone here is SO nice and kind. I would definitely recommend you check out this place to volunteer.

Because it represent love and giving understanding and caring i would love to volunteer at prism
