Mission Statement

The Atlanta Victim Assistance Program will advocate for the fundamental rights of victims and witnesses of crime with compassion, dignity, and respect. AVA will provide comprehensive services which remove barriers, strengthen victims and their families and foster a healthy transition from victim to survivor.

Description

We are a non-profit agency that works in collaboration with the Atlanta Police Department. We match the needs of crime victims with available community resources. We also receive referrals from the Department of Family and Children Services, and other Victim and Social Service Agencies.
