Mission Statement

To improve the life of women and women with children by empowering them to break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.

Description

The Mary Hall Freedom House (MHFH) was founded in 1996 by Lucy Hall in memory of her mother, and has provided 1,500 women and women with children guidance to develop and maintain independent living, free from the bonds of addictive drug and/or alcohol use, criminal and anti-social behaviors and abusive relationships. At age six, Lucy lost her own mother to alcoholism and knows intimately the need to end the pattern of addiction among mothers and their children. As her way of giving back and reaching out to help others, MHFH was founded to assist women and women with children who share a story so similar to her own. Our primary aim is to instill the importance of â  freedomâ  from alcohol, substance, physical, mental and emotional abuse, develop self awareness and self esteem in a caring and professional manner with qualified professionals. Our program components include Residential Housing, Day Treatment, Outpatient Care, Individual Case Management, Child Care, Mental/Physical Health Educational and Vocational Assessment/Training, and Life- Skills Development.
