Mission Statement

The Humane Society of Washington County exists to improve the quality of life for abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. We shelter those at risk and provide educational venues that strive to deepen individual commitment to humane values such as kindness, compassion, personal responsibility and respect for all living things. These are qualities we believe are essential to make a better world for both the animals and people in our community.

Description

We provide shelter for homeless and abused animals, as well as adoption, humane education and foster programs, spay neuter assistance and food bank programs.

well my grandparents named ruth and garie have been to the humaine sosiciety and every thing was was well orginized and infact they adopt a 6 month old white pitbull named adien they gave him to me as a gift and he never leaves my side hes such a good dog i cant believe how the humaine society took so much good care of him hes the best pitbull in the world.
