Mission Statement

MISSION: The Latino STEM Alliance partners with schools, private industry, community groups and academia to bring STEM experiences to underserved yourth that otherwise would not have such an opportunity.

Description

The Latino STEM Alliance strives to become the catalyst for a transformation that will enable the United States to overcome the shortage of STEM professionals that threatens our national security and global innovative leadership. In doing so, we will enable its own economic prosperity. We contribute by leveraging our understanding of the Latino culture and our own experiences to inspire youth to believe in themselves, provide the mentorship and support they need to get engaged in STEM related activities, and by creating a platform for continuous personal and professional growth.
