The American Red Cross serves local citizens by responding to large (floods, earthquake etc.) and small (house fires) disasters and making sure victims have food, clothing and shelter. Our volunteers respond to disasters on the average of every 48 hours. We teach thousands of people each year in basic first aid, CPR and disaster preparedness. We take special efforts to ensure that our servcies are available to people whose native language is not English through the services of our Language Bank. Most of our direct services in all of these areas are provided by volunteers.
Mission Statement
