Description

In fulfilling our mission, we will: provide meals to the elderly through our Senior Nutrition Program to assure good nutrition and that no elderly person goes hungry; provide food to low income households through our Commodity Food Program; provide funds for energy assistance through our Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program and weatherization of homes through our Weatherization Assistance Program to assure that homes are energy efficient and that no low income household members go to bed cold; provide home repair through the House Repair Collaborative to assure that homes are habitable and partner with others to ensure low-income households are housed; provide homemaker services, information and assistance services through our Office on Aging to help elderly people achieve and maintain a level of self-sufficiency and independence in their own home; and continue to seek opportunities to provide additional services to meet community needs.
