Mission Statement

Our mission is to perform environmental education and ACTION with youth and our community that involves on-the-ground change and makes a real difference in pollinator protection, water conservation, climate change, and healthy sustainable communities in our rural north coast (Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake Counties)

Description

We are based in Santa Rosa, CA, and our work links youth education to youth action, and provide hands-on opportunities to make on-the-ground change. Our programs include planting pollinator habitat in our "Bee Patches" program (beepatches.org), conserving water in our
"Rain Catchers" program (raincatchers.info), addressing climate change and environmental responsibility in our "Worm Wizards of Waste" program (wormwizards.org), and supporting small and innovative approaches to local agriculture and forestry as well as improving resiliency to wildfires at the neighborhood level in our "Cultivating Commerce" program (cultivatingcommerce.org). Our programs all rely on making simple changes that cumulatively make for big impact, whether in addressing climate change or in building the leaders of tomorrow.
