Volunteers choose to participate in a variety of ways including transportation to medical appointments or grocery shopping, friendly visits, non-medical respite care or yard work. We also utilize the skills of volunteers in our office and for special events such as fundraising or expos. Volunteers set their own schedule and decide what days and how many hours they can help.
Mission Statement
Faith in Action of McHenry County supports our senior neighbors who live independently in their own homes or with loved ones. We connect community volunteers with seniors who require assistance to maintain their dignity and quality of life. We never charge for services.
