Mission Statement

No person should be denied the love of having their own pet in Connecticut. We are devoted to the permanent placement of shelter dogs and cats with individuals who desire and would benefit from having their own pet but require outside assistance for this to happen in their lives. We provide the assistance.

Description

Our organization receives referrals from social workers and medical professionals, etc. who know their clients/patients.

They know their client(s) would benefit from having their own pet. They are aware of the obstacle(s) that are preventing their client from having a pet.

After receiving the referral, we determine what assistance is needed.

Assistance can range from:

Rescue Shelter Fee

Annual Veterinary Check-ups

Transportation for the pet to the veterinarian
