ASD Climber Foundation

We are a Son-Rise family that recruits volunteers through ASD Climbers Foundation. This program is amazing for our family AND the volunteers who work with us. When I see my son blossoming and using his new social skills, my heart swells with gratitude for the wonderful volunteers who have taught him how to enjoy interacting with other people. Our volunteers enjoy learning the Son-Rise program for our son and applying it in their own life. I can't imagine a more impactful volunteer program for families and volunteers alike.

I have been volunteering with a family for 4 months now and it has been a great experience. The program is clearly very beneficial to the boy I volunteer with and has changed his life, along with my own.

I have been working with ASD Climber since 2013 and I have been in constant contact with Joseph who is a wonderful person and very caring about the service he is giving to over 200 families and countless volunteers. I am the mother of a 4 year old child on the Autism Spectrum and ALL the volunteers we have worked with for the last 2 years have come thru ASD Climber. Families then are responsible for contacting the volunteers. Many days time is very short and a lot of people don't understand that if a family doesn't reply immediately it is because their days are way to short in the crazy hours of therapy, special food, & special needs of their child. Most importantly if a family doesn't respond IT IS NOT by any means the responsibility of ASD Climber. Joseph has been most helpful and always has responded very promptly to all the needs of my family and our volunteers and volunteer prospects. I highly recommend ASD Climber to volunteers looking for an opportunity to make a difference.

ASD Climbers is a brilliant organisation which matches up families who have autistic children with people who want to help and train in the Son-Rise Program. The free training in the Son-Rise Program is invaluable. As well as being the bridge towards social communication for kids on the spectrum it is also an opportunity for the volunteer for personal and spiritual growth. It's easy, loving and anyone can do it. Flexibility and acceptance are key.

I am so grateful for the ASD Climber organization. If it weren't for them, I would not have found the best volunteers for our Son-Rise Program. Love their dedication and professionalism!

We get our volunteers through this organization and we have been successfully running our sonrise program with the help of ten volunteers for one year now. ASD Climber foundation has been the biggest blessing to the life of our child with severe autism. Not only did the president of the foundation lead us to finding the Son-Rise program and inspire us to begin the life changing journey of beginning our own home program for our special angel...but they supported us in building our amazing team to surround our son from day one! The volunteers who graced our playroom that came from this foundation all became like true family members! They truly contributed to our son's huge development from being completely withdrawn from this world and in complete isolation…into having his own desire to step out of his autism and be with us...and have a love of learning! We are so humbled and beyond grateful the all the ASD climber foundation has done for our son and our family! Truly a God-send! I HIGHLY recommend any family needing support and any volunteer wanting to make a difference to hit up this organization!

We have been working with this incredible Foundation for almost 4 years. There isn't a Son-Rise family who has not heard about this organization. It will not be an exageration to say that they have been the best resource in getting wonderful, exited, energetic and enthusiastic volunteers for our Son-Rise Program.
