VNA helps people age with dignity and independence in their homes.

Description

The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) is a nonprofit that has played a critical role in community-based health care since 1934. We provide hospice, palliative care, nutritious meals, and social connections for homebound seniors and serve as the premier aging resource for North Texas.

My kids and I volunteered with VNA, through their Meals on Wheels program and LOVED it! It is very organized, and so many of the people on our route were so nice and very grateful for a friendly face to bring their food. We volunteered one day a week. Yet the VNA is so good at making everyone feel like they are angels. I highly recommend this program!
