Mission Statement

To take in horses, ponies or donkeys who have been starved, abused, neglected, abandoned, old, disabled or are simply unwanted. Rehab them if possible and place in new homes or retire them on our farm.

Horses' Haven is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit humane care and adoption organization for horses, ponies and donkeys.

Horses' Haven is a great organization! No experience is needed and they work you up to the more "difficult" horses as you gain confidence and experience. It's hard work but you'll definitely feel appreciated, I would highly recommend volunteering here as it gave me a new respect for animals.

Horses Haven is a wonderful place. If you like horses or animals it is a great place to volunteer. I've been volunteering weekly for six years - you work directly with the horses, donkeys and other critters. You will give them water, prepare their food, see that everyone eats, muck the pastures and get to love each and every critter there. You will get to work hard, get a workout with all that you do, meet friends and get your horse/animal fix. It is a great place to volunteer!!
