The American Red Cross has been serving New Hampshire since 1917. There are five chapters located throughout the state: The Granite Chapter serving Concord, the Lakes Region, and the North Country; the Greater Manchester chapter serving the Manchester metro area; the Nashua Chapter serving southern NH; the NH West chapter serving southwestern NH; and the Great Bay chapter serving the seacoast.
Do you remember the ice storm of 2008? The tornadoes in the last several years? Have you or someone you know been burnt out from your home? While the American Red Cross in the New Hampshire is just one of many regional organizations, we all hold true to the same guiding mission of our national society:
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
The American Red Cross provides many valuable services to the communities of New Hampshire. In addition to Disaster Relief, we also provide Services to the Armed Forces, Blood Services, Health and Safety Training, and Medical Careers training. None of this would be possible without help from people like you: Volunteer with the Red Cross and experience something you will never forget.
