Assist in making the Meals on Wheels pick-up time more engaging for our volunteers. We are looking for someone to assist volunteer drivers load bags of food into their cars, train new drivers, and receive the empty bags when the drivers come back. Monday through Friday from 10:45-12:45pm. Signing up for once a week or once a month would be great!! Try it once and see if you enjoy meeting our wonderful volunteers. CES Meals on Wheels delivers over 1,800 meals a week in Minneapolis and we want to make it as convenient for our volunteer drivers as possible. Having the driver stop at the front door, receive their meals and leave without having to park saves them at least 15 minutes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help out Meals on Wheels but doesn't want to drive.
