I agreed with the previous reviews. If you decide to volunteer or be an intern for them as Graphic Designer, you will have to create everything from scratches, because all they have is low quality jpeg files. They also will make you make everything goes BIG and BOLD in one tiny flyer (which already has a lot going on). PRO: It is a working experience. CONS: You won't learn any design, creative skills from them. They are not likely open for new creative ideas.

2021 revamp of old review from 2016. I worked for ALegacyLeftBehind for about a week. I volunteered for them as a Graphic Designer. As an introductory project, the owner decided she wanted me to create a flyer for their women empowerment meeting. She wanted me to use the same font for the flyers that she has used in the past. The owner was not able to send me the InDesign or Photoshop files. I was not able to get the original font. She was also providing very pixelated images to use in her flyer. While working for her I recreated her logo, the butterflies, and created a flyer. I decided to stop providing my services because the owner in my opinion very rude to me in emails. She said, "I was hoping it would be a quick turnaround project." She was unable to provide sufficient resources to find the correct font or give me higher-quality images. In the end, I gave her my files, the fonts used, and a breakdown of how she can help her future volunteers.

I gave it 5 stars because its for a good cause and it would be a good opportunity for people who are good at art and want to help people.
