Haiti Circle of Friends is based in Fermathe, Haiti. 15 km. from Petion-ville in the mountains above Port-au-Prince. We maintain a small family home for 6 children, train Haitian staff to provide appropriate care for children. We are a grassroots organization with an ever widening circle of friends who support this alternative approach to raising children in safety, with love, respect and dignity. We are a community based organization in Haiti and we outreach to local community to guide and support the growth of this new model of care for orphans
Mission Statement
Haiti Circle of Friends is dedicated to re-inventing care of neglected orphans in Haiti. We are dedicated to appropriate intervention and care of abused and neglected orphans. Our mission is to educate Haitian staff, provide a community base of support to educate, provide medical, education, and nourishment to small households of children. We are dedicated to re-thinking how Haiti's orpahanges operate and we are committed to providing alternative care for children in small family group homes.
