Our program meets weekly year-round on Saturdays from 8am-1pm. We provide the children with both breakfast and lunch and participate in a different activity each week. Activities include mountain biking, picking apples, roller skating, hiking, going to MOST or the Emerson Art Museum, community service projects, and cross country skiing amongst others. Unless the activity is too far, we ride bikes to the activity. When the roads are wet, we walk.
Mission Statement
bikeSyracuse serves at-risk inner-city children in Syracuse ages 8-14. Our program supports education and teaches personal responsibility, achievement, confidence and other tools the children need to break the cycle of poverty through adventure and bike based programming.
