The mission of Wildflower Healthcare is to advance the health and well-being of qualifying St. Johns County residents requiring medical and dental care. Our clinics seek to promote optimal health outcomes through direct patient services and individualized instruction in a caring, compassionate environment. Wildflower Healthcare provides free medical and dental services and health education to St. Johns County residents who are uninsured and whose income falls at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. We are in need of volunteer dental professionals for our weekly dental clinics; dentists, dental assistants, sterilization techs & hygienists. Our dental care includes: exams, extractions, fillings, & routine cleanings only. We are also looking for other dental facilities willing to be a volunteer referral provider for services that we do not offer. The mission of Wildflower Healthcare is to remove barriers and promote optimal health outcomes through direct patient services and individualized instruction in a caring, compassionate environment. Wildflower Healthcare provides free medical and dental services and health education to adult St. Johns County residents who are uninsured and whose income falls at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. We are in need of volunteer medical professionals for our weekly clinics: doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Our medical care includes daily appointments for primary care; monthly clinics for specialties such as women's health, mental health, vision, cardiology, dermatology, podiatry, pre-surgical consultations and more; and weekly mobile health clinics. Most shifts are a 3-hour commitment (9 - 12 or 1 - 4) as often as once a week or as infrequently as once per quarter or whatever fits into your schedule. Retired practitioners are welcome as long as you maintain a license. We are also looking for other medical facilities willing to be a volunteer referral provider for services we do not offer. Good Samaritan Health Centers, Inc. Wildflower clinic is a non-profit clinic located in St. Johns county that provides FREE medical & dental care to residents who would otherwise be unable to afford it. We are looking for volunteers to become part of our Events Committee and help with our fundraising functions. We need individuals who are willing to go out to the community and help us solicit sponsors for upcoming events. Anyone who has previous event planning experience would be highly valued. Even if you don't have that type of experience, if you are an organized & reliable person, you could be a tremendous help to us! Wildflower Healthcare provides FREE medical & dental care to lower income uninsured St. Johns County adults who otherwise would not have access. We are a facility whose mission is to promote the health & well being of our community residents through compassionate care. We are looking for volunteers to work during our medical clinics and scribe for our physicians. You do not have to have prior scribing experience, but we do ask that you have intermediate computer skills, some familiarity with medical terminology, and a positive willing attitude. In basic terms scribing means you will be typing for the physician while they are with the patient. They will verbally tell you what they would like for you to type. You will be there as their assistant so they might ask you to look something up online for them, for example the price of a medication at our local store. We are in need of volunteer nurses for our medical clinic Monday through Saturday, and outreach services weekly (schedule varies from week to week). Nurses can be LPN, RN, or CNA. Retired nurses are welcome as long as you maintain a FL license. We provide basic medical care here so the nurses responsibilities include: vitals, patient education, and assisting physicians when needed.
