Seton Home exists to provide a nurturing environment that fosters childbirth and proper parenting skills for homeless teens that are pregnant and or parenting and have chosen to keep thier babies.
Description
Seton Home is a nurturing residential facility or homeless pregnant or parenting girls ages 12-19 who have chosen to keep and raise their children and rebuild their lives. Chartered by the state and licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protetive Services, the facility provides: 24 hour a day shelter; Food; Medical Care; On-Site LIcensed Child Care; Clothing; Individual & Group therapy; Baby Necessities; Recreational Activities; Education and Career Counseling; Spiritual and Moral Guidance; Parneting Classes and LIfe Skills Training. Seton Home's goal is to help clients progress from crisis to self-sufficiency through a model of care that interupts the cyclical pattern of teen pregnancy, child abuse and neglect, and provides a brighter future for the teens and their children.
