Event Description
The Latin Food and Wine Festival (LFW) is the premiere wine and culinary festival in Central Florida with a Latin twist. The event has attracted top experts in the culinary field. The event will be October 14th and 15th, 2011 at two different venues within Central Florida.

Volunteer Shifts will be rotated and everyone will have a lead to report to.
Set-up: 10 Volunteers are needed to help with event set-up, including unloading materials, setting up tables, chairs and linens for the sponsors and vendors. This opportunity will require some lifting.
Information Desk: 2 volunteers per shift are needed to help with giving out information, t-shirt sales, and registration for the vendors. This job will require some cash handling.
Volunteer Desk: 2 volunteers per shift are needed to check volunteers in, hand them their LFW shirts, and have food & drinks ready to give out to volunteers. Food will be provided by HCCMO.
Vendor & Sponsor Registration: 2 volunteers per table per shift are needed to check vendors in, hand them a map with their booth location and hand them any material specifically for them.
Vendor Assistants: We need 30-40 volunteers to assist with the vendors. You will assist vendors with collecting their pesos and providing them more if they run out of pesos. This job will require some cash and food handling.
Pepsi Station: 8 volunteers are needed. This job will consist of setting up the station. Selling the product and handling cash. Volunteers are needed from 6pm-10pm
Vo lunteers Needed
2 volunteers needed per shift at stage. You will be working with the talent, mc’s and
assisting the Stage Manager.
Floaters: Making sure the event is clean, organized and seeing if anyone needs your help. You will be directing guests to the information desk if they have any questions. Also, mingling with the guests and making sure they are enjoying themselves. If there are any questions and/or complaints please let us know at the information desk.
Surveyors: 2-4 volunteers needed. You will be walking around asking the guest a few questions about themselves and how they feel about the event.
Programs: 2-4 volunteers needed. You will be handing out the Latin Food and Wine Festival
Programs to our guests.
Check Out: Help with collecting and counting the pesos. This job will require cash handling. You will be working closely with 5/3 Bank.
Breakdown: M aking sure the vendors have cleared the tables. Help wherever you are needed with cleaning up area and assisting the vendors.
