The main responsibilities of E.L.I. are: Serve as role models and mentors in the Evolution Center Collaborate as a team to develop and implement center activities as well as small, medium and large sized events Actively participate in Evolution Center activities and events Attend leadership trainings, team-building activities, and meetings Have Fun!

The Mission of E.L.I. is to promote brotherhood, inclusivity and sexual health in the black gay community, through education and empowerment. It is the goal of the organization to empower young black gay/bisexual men as well as transgender individuals to become ethical and effective leaders in their communities by providing professional support, mentoring, skill development, service opportunities and community.
