Description
Make-A-Wish is a charitable non-profit organization whose purpose is to fulfill magical wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. Proceeds from the Make-A-Wish fundraising efforts are used to fulfill children's dreams and create special memories for the entire family.

What we give we receive. The purpose of giving isn't an act you perform for others who are just in need, or to make yourself feel better. We are all human beings and no one is better than another. This organization embodies that by telling its wishers that message. My whole life the make a wish foundation has been one I've always remembered. And what an honor it would be to play a part in the mission!

I had a great time manning the phones for Make-A-Wish's radiothon! As a member of VolunteerMatch staff, we like to practice what we preach, and i chose to help out here. The staff, even after 24 hours straight being there, and at least 24 more to go, were all peppy and friendly, and there was plenty of snacking to keep us energized. Beyond that, the experience of thanking people who were more than happy to give their money to the wonderful cause was inspiring beyond words. A great experience!
