I was a resident of the Nicholas House 19-1/2 years ago, right when it first opened at the Briarcliff location. There is no other feeling like that of a mother and her children who have become "homeless", whether through financial constraints or relocation or whatever the circumstance, but the people of the Nicholas House at that time always put a smile on my face and my children's face. I have always said that the Nicholas House (and "Our House" daycare) gave me my start here in Atlanta, and paved the way for us, and I am very grateful for that!
