Daffodil Days is one of the American Cancer Society's oldest community events. During the months of January and February, hundreds of volunteers will mobilize to sell daffodils, the flowers of hope, in their organizations, schools and communities. Flowers will be delivered during the week of March 24, 2003. The Daffodil Days program raises funds for the American Cancer Society's cancer research, prevention programs and services for survivors and their families.
Mission Statement
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
