To help them acquire and use available supports and skills necessary to manage their symptoms and return to the community and find success, hope and meaning in the role and environment of their choice."
Description
NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots organization addressing and advocating for individuals diagnosed with mental illness and providing support for their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has affiliates in every state and in more than 1,100 local communities around the country. NAMI members work to provide support, education, and advocacy.

NAMI Lexington is the local affiliate for the Lexington, KY area. We are a strong grassroots organization with a variety of FREE and affordable programs, trainings, and daily offerings. Supporting, educating and advocating for ALL of those affected by mental illness is our daily mission.
