Mission Statement

Family Advancement Ministries (FAM) is a Catholic, diocesan, social service organization that, in partnership with the community at large, nurtures a reverence for life by responding to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families with the goal of moving families toward independence and self-sufficiency.

Description

We provide financial assistance for emergencies (utilities and rent), clothing and shoes for babies, children and expectant mothers. We also have diapers, car seats and layetts for newborns. All material assistance is linked with education: life-skills classes such as personal finance/budgeting, parenting, and prenatal classes.
