Mission Statement

Feral Feline Project believes that every cat has a right to life, regardless if it is feral or domesticated. We also believe that Trap Neuter Return (TNR) is the most humane and effective method in reducing outdoor feral cat populations. It is our mission to practice TNR in Northern Cook County and to educate the local villages and its citizens on the benefits of spaying and neutering outdoor cats instead of inhumanely euthanizing them. Our vision is to one day drastically reduce suffering cats and kittens on the streets and have all the local villages adopt and practice TNR. Feral Feline Project does not take take too many owner "give ups" because we
focus on rescuing friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned or born outside. We make
every attempt to remove these friendly, lost and abandoned cats and kittens for adoption. You can see our adoptable cats at the Vernon Hills, IL PetSmart.

Description

F eral Feline Project needs volunteers immediately to help at the PetSmart in Vernon Hills. We are looking for compassionate volunteers that can play with the cats and kittens, tidy up the cages and interact with the public 2-3 times a month. You will be apart of an organization that saves lives through spaying/neutering and adoptions. In addition, this is a great chance to give back to the community. Please contact Serena at 847-800-0095 or email at feralfelineproject@gmail.com
