Mt. Pleasant is a 232-acre farm owned by The Howard County Conservancy. We are striving to protect open spaces, promote the improvement of the natural environment, and engage children of all ages with education of the natural world in Howard County.
Mission Statement
The Howard County Conservancy was founded in 1990 as a local land trust with the following purposes a) To protect the open spaces, rural environment, and agricultural resources of Howard County b)To promote the preservation and improvement of the natural environment: land, water, plants and animals, and unique scenic, natural and historic sites and c)To engage in and promote the scientific study of and education relating to agricultural resources and the natural environment.
