The American Liver Foundation - Great Lakes Division is supported by outstanding physicians, researchers, medical institutions, corporate and media leaders who play a vital role in these efforts. ALF is dedicated to a future where effective treatments exist for liver diseases and no one dies waiting for a transplant.

Really enjoyed cheering on runners for the Liver Foundation at the Chicago marathon. Clear communication with coordinators helped everything run smoothly.

I have contacted this organization three times via email and once over the phone reguarding volunteer opportunites and internships. My emails of phone calls were never returned. I do believe that they are a reputable organization, but I question their efficency and sencerity. They probably are looking for the type of volunteers that just give money.
