Mission Statement

The San francisco Housing Development Corporation (SFHDC) mission is to create quality affordable homeownership and rental opportunities for low and moderate income families, primarily in BayVeiw Hunters Point and Western Addition neighborhoods.

Description

In thirteen years, SFHDC has built or rehabilitated 300 units of affordable housing and 48 single family homes. SFHDC educates over 600 families each year about the homebuying process and has created more than 250 first-time homebuyers through our HUD-Certified Housing Counseling Center.
