The CELC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to providing educational opportunities and childcare services to Columbus children, primarily from working class and low income families. Founded in 1887, as the Oak Street Day Nursery, CELC is the oldest early childhood education agency in Franklin County and has a rich history and successful record of meeting the profound and changing needs of at-risk children.
