As a former City Year Greater Philadelphia corps member, I can tell you that this is a wonderful opportunity to truly serve in communities throughout the city of Philadelphia. I have never been a Youth Group Leader, but I tutored and mentored youth and actively engaged in volunteerism. This a position of endurance and it has phenomenal rewards. The children are eager to learn and develop their leadership, and (in return) become a face of positivity in their communities. Whether you become a Youth Group Leader or a Corps Member, City Year Greater Philadelphia is the site to join.
