AIDS Emergency Fund

The AIDs Emergency Fund is a volunteer driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpolitical organization. We raise money by sponsoring local fundraising events, conducting direct mail solicitations, applying for foundation and corporate grants and placing hundreds of "Penny Jars" at various locations throughout the Bay Area.

Mission Statement

Mission Statement The AIDS Emergency Fund provides direct financial assistance to people with AIDS or disabling HIV. We pay providers directly for housing costs, telephone bills, utilities, medical expenses not covered by insurance and other emergency needs. AEF is committed to providing these services in a face-to-face, compassionate manner, utilizing volunteers as much as possible while maintaining minimal overhead costs.
